This Cookie Policy explains how FinCoach AI uses cookies and similar technologies on www.fincoach.pro. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things between page loads and visits, such as keeping you signed in. Similar technologies (like browser local storage) work in comparable ways.
2. How we use cookies
We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. We use strictly necessary and functional cookies — the ones required to run the Service and remember your preferences — and a single analytics tool (Google Analytics) to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited so we can improve the site. We do not use advertising cookies and do not sell your data or build cross-site advertising profiles.
3. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication cookies (set by Supabase) | Strictly necessary | Keep you securely signed in to your account and maintain your session. Without these you cannot log in. |
fc_lang | Functional | Remembers your chosen display language so the site shows in the right language on your next visit. |
_ga, _ga_* (set by Google Analytics) | Analytics | Helps us measure aggregate site usage (pages viewed, approximate visits) so we can improve the site. Set by Google Analytics 4. These do not identify you personally to us. |
We may also use your IP address at the moment of a request to detect an approximate country and pick a default language, but this is not stored in a tracking cookie.
4. Your choices & consent
Strictly necessary and functional cookies are essential to provide a service you have requested, and most privacy laws (including the EU ePrivacy rules) do not require a consent banner for them. Analytics is different and runs in a privacy-preserving consent mode: until you accept via our cookie banner, Google Analytics sets no analytics cookies and collects no identifying data, and if you decline it stays that way. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in and using your account.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.
